The group started to play in March 2016 with a handful of people meeting in a member's house and with numbers growing we
moved to Culverstone Hall and have now moved again to Hartley.
We have moved premises from Culverstone to Hartley Country Club, ( DA3 8BS )
We are now meeting at 1.15 for a prompt start 1.30
We have a jolly time , we beak for tea or coffee, and a very casual chat, if you are a member of the U3A and would like to join us.
There is a charge for a casual player of £2.

Their is no need to know how to play the game, if you do not try it you will never know .

Canasta is a very intriguing card game of four players; once you start, you won't want to stop. By attempting to beat your opponents, you will find that your little grey cells are given a great workout. We are a very friendly group of people who enjoy learning about and playing the game of canasta & may also arrange social outings during the year.
