Music For Pleasure, This group is now full, would you like to start a group 2? Contact  our Group Co-ordinator.

We meet on the afternoon of the fourth Tuesday of each month at the home of one of our members.

EXCEPTIONS
The date may change if we have an outing, special event or if there is a clash with other MU3A meetings. We will also not meet in exceptionally bad weather.

At each meeting one member of the group introduces a music related "topic" entirely of his or her own choice. Following a brief introduction we listen to selected pieces related to the topic. Generally we do not know in advance what we are to hear and that element of surprise is an extra dimension to our enjoyment.

There is no constraint on what we cover; it can be a specific piece, style, instrument, composer, artist, time period, country etc. It can be classical, jazz, pop, C&W, music from shows; “anything goes!”

We have had two, very successful, outings. The first was to the Handel/ Hendrix Museum, the second to the Musical Museum at Kew.
We did not meet in December but we all enjoyed a seasonal meal kindly arranged by Nyria.
